Neighborhoods in Hendersonville

Avondale

Avondale is a Hendersonville neighborhood located north and west of the Cumberland River where it bends to form the bay. It's a lovely area with Bay Drive, Country Club Drive, and Bonita Parkway as the main thoroughfares. The Caldwell neighborhood in Hendersonville is north of Vietnam Veteran's Boulevard and extends all the way up to Long Hollow Pike. It's a fantastic housing market that spans a broad area, with Center Point Road at its epicenter. This neighborhood also includes Glenbrook Way and Goshentown Road, as well as Forest Retreat Road, which is one of the area's neighboring roadways. Curtis Crossroads, a street that runs largely through the heart of the neighborhood, is named for it. The Sumner County School District serves residents and new home owners' children. Walton Ferry Elementary is the only elementary school in the community, and it is located on Walton Ferry Road, which is what Curtis Crossroads becomes once it curves north. Pike of Long Hollow

Long Hollow Pike is a neighborhood that is bordered on the south by Drake's Creek Road. However, Long Hollow Pike, which runs from west to east along the northern border, is the name of the neighborhood. The community's western boundary is New Shackle Island Road, and Drake's Creek runs through the western portion of the area. The Sumner County School District, which has 46 schools, serves the Long Hollow Pike housing market. Long Hollow Pike real estate is available for purchase.

Rockland

The Rockland neighborhood is bounded on the west by the Cumberland River, shortly before it narrows at the power plant, and on the east by the Cumberland River. Rockland Road runs the length of the neighborhood's northern boundary, and Main Street runs through the neighborhood's upper section. The other side of the Cumberland River and Walton's Ferry Road, which runs largely north and south, form the eastern border. Sumner County District, which serves Rockland, has a total enrollment of just over 28,000 students. Gene W. Brown Elementary, which covers grades K-5, is one of the schools inside the Rockland neighborhood's boundaries. Rockland real estate is available for purchase.

Saundersville

Saundersville is an oddly shaped boot-shaped community with Main Street running through it. Drake's Creek and the Cumberland River converge on the southwestern boundary. Then it turns north and east along Indian Lake Road and Maple Drive before heading south on Cherokee Road. Main Street, which runs from Maple Drive to Vietnam Veteran's Boulevard, is also one of the southeast's borders. The Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club is located entirely within this community, making it extremely popular with Hendersonville residents and prospective property purchasers. Sumner County School District also serves Saundersville, with three schools: Hendersonville High School, Nannie Berry Elementary, and Robert E. Ellis Middle School. Shackle Island

The Shackle Island neighborhood is a big circular region that runs from the western boundary of New Hope Road all the way to the eastern border of Upper Station Camp Creek Road and is bordered on the south by Long Hollow Pike. The northern boundary is defined by Mud Hollow Road and Garrison Branch Road. The Ocana Community Center is just outside the neighborhood's southern border, and there are several minor streams that run through it. The Sumner County School District serves Shackle Island.
